Strathclyde (Single Grain Whisky). 1989, 29yo, 55,7%. Cadenheads World Whiskies.
Nose: Oily, engine oil and toffee shortbread, coconut butter, green olives and honey.
Taste: Rich, Portuguese tarts with hints of strawberries, raspberry yoghurt, with notes of cinnamon and nutmeg.
Finish: Initial short creamy notes replaced by lingering golden syrup, apricots and brown sugar.
